Music feeds my soul. I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I sang in choir through grade school and high school. I sang the lead part in my grade school operettas and I also was apart of my high schools show and jazz choir. I loved singing. Now a days, I sing only for myself. In the shower, in my car, sometimes at work. Most of the time, I don’t even realize I am doing it.

Yeah this is probably what I look like doing it too. I just love music that much.
I am a fan of all kinds of music. Growing up as a teenager in the 90’s, I was all about Grunge music. My life revolved around Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Blind Melon. I was this wanna be skater chick. I wore my dad’s clothes, because baggy jeans and flannel shirts were the cool thing to wear. I had a chain wallet and I smoked. I thought I was so cool. And I guess for that time, I was.
But as I got older, I learned to appreciate all music. But my soul fell in love with Country Music. I remember my mom had a box set of Garth Brooks. I locked myself in my bedroom one day and I listened to him over and over. And from that moment on, I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough. I loved Garth (I mean, who are we fooling. He’s the GOAT in country music,), Reba, Shania Twain, George Strait, Johnny Cash, and Kenny Chesney. Hell, I even started dressing like them. I had the boots, wranglers, big belt buckle, and even the Stetson.
Fast forward almost 20 years and I still love country music. I still sing everywhere, to the annoyance of my husband and coworkers. Being that my husband is a heavy metal fan and plays heavy metal guitar, he and I don’t see eye to eye on music. But he can appreciate what I like, as I appreciate what he likes. He’s even been to two Kenny Chesney concerts with me and I saw Motorhead, Megadeth, Testement, and Ministry with him.
